TITLE: Developmental Account Representative
LOCATION: Eagan
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs cold calling for new and competitive accounts.
- Develops written proposals for the execution of sales contracts to potential new customers.
- Provides solutions for customer applications and begin new customer relations.
- Provides management with a market overview for an identified territory and review of current competitive projects.
- Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
- The Developmental Account Representative will be expected to achieve forecasted market penetration by cold calling, and otherwise corresponding with potential new customers, and then providing the appropriate customer solutions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate and interact with various types of personalities and authority within an organization.
- Ability to persuade others as well as be resilient and persistent if not closed initially.
- Skill in relating to customers with empathy, creativity, and flexibility.
- Must be an aggressive, motivated, confident, self-starter.
- Skill in writing letters and proposals.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work.
- Skill in conducting oneself in professional manner.
- This position requires a minimum of a College degree and between 3-5 years of prior revenue increasing sales performance.
- Incumbent must be familiar with Microsoft office products including Outlook.
- Position requires considerable local travel daily and occasional overnight travel primarily for training.
- Must possess valid Illinois Drivers License with a good driving record.

- Develops written proposals for the execution of sales contracts.
- Provides solutions for customer applications and maintain customer relations.
- Provides management with monthly forecast for territory and review of current projects.
- Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
- The Core Sales Representative will be expected to achieve forecasted market shares and gross profit goals by providing the appropriate customer solutions and consistent account management of both new and existing customers.
